Usually, USB only works in GUI OSs and Linux, but in DOS, there really hasn't been any standard at all. It's all up in the air, and usually it's not seen as COM1. > > are incorporating the latest features in a small, svelte OS. > Do you use freedos? Is it any good compared to Dr-DOS? For the basics all of the various DOS verisons do about the same thing. A few command variations here and there, but mostly that's the bulk of it for most users. Besides that, haven't really bothered moving from MS-DOS yet. Can't find any good reason yet since everything does work. Mostly just dabble to see what all its about, but not much exploration than the basics. ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
