I've been using Sonique (which has simple keyboard commands) with a folder of Playlists open. Its easy to Alt-tab and change playlists. Aside from the odd glance to make sure you have the correct playlist, its been pretty easy to pass the time on a 7 hour drive (and the occasional 15 hr ;).
It seems to support a lot of file types, but I didn't read anything that would entice me to switch from WinAmp. The version of WinAmp I'm using is very resource friendly. I'd like to use the very newest version of WinAmp and MusicMatch which I like for their library/playlist feature, but I'm going to have to o/c this L100 first. The problem with a lot of the newer media software is that they usually require a lot more CPU power. And new apps like Blubster are written in such a high level language that they hardly work with a P166 CPU at all.

I did find a website with the WinAmp keyboard shortcuts. Haven't yet tested them all yet:
