Great setup, I have followed your posts on the list. I like the 6500 mAh output of the Ni-MH D cells and they are lighter, about 3 pound vs. 7 pounds for my 7 mAh gel cell. The cost is a lot more, however. With the flood of digital cameras using AA, 2100 are available now and 2000 are being unloaded. I got mine at a computer show for less than two dollars each, I opt for individual charging of the cell and a 10 cell charger are available also. I do plan consider the D cell at a lower price. I see 15 dollars each now. My current extended uses away from a wall outlet is 4 hours. On the bicycle I only power up the Libretto at night to upload and download from the gps. > -----Original Message----- > From: PhotoEngineering [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Saturday, November 01, 2003 2:55 AM > To: Libretto > Subject: Re: [LIB] External battery for my L50 > > > Date: Fri, 31 Oct 2003 11:41:23 -0800 > From: PhotoEngineering <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [LIB] External battery for my L50 > > At 09:24 PM 10/31/2003, you wrote: > >Date: Fri, 31 Oct 2003 23:40:44 -0500 > >From: "BCotton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >Subject: External battery for my L50 > > > >I use my Libretto for moving map on my bicycle for more than 5 years.
