Don't know if you caught my comment on the fact that
this Dell is now seeing the entire 120GB on this HDD
now setup as master on the primary IDE channel now.
I'm guessing thay the 4 W2K FD setup disks that
prepared the way for loading the W2k CD installation
program must have installed its own drive overlay via
a new MBR to deal with the problem.
One way or the other, I now need nothing but the 120GB
Western Digital HDD I got for $50 after rebates.
