I'm the owner of a L100CT 2.1GB / 64MB running Win98. I wonder if it would slow the system down if i installed Win2000. 
Cause if it will i won't do it. Does anyone have experience with this?

Question two :-) i'm thinking of running a schedular or calendar where i can keep my 
appointments in with timer alarms etc. Can anyone advise me on a good application to 
run on my Lib?

dump windows completely--to buggy and slow. for example the XP kernel on 
the 110 took 3-5 minutes to load completely and it was extremely slow 
accessing the hard drive plus it never used memory properly. in contrast 
the linux kernel 2.6.7 starts in about 10 seconds and never slows down 
from thatthe entire time its used. it never runs out of memory and 
rarely touches the hard drive. use linux + wine to run your windows 
programs. they'll run 1000x faster and better.
