Greetings! It's my first post! I've had my 1100v (and a 70ct as well) since 2000.
I'm getting ready to put a larger drive in the 1100v, and hopefully install a dual boot of win2k and Linux.
I've ordered a 7200rpm 40gb drive, hoping that'll perk up the performance for win2k a bit. I disassembled it a bit, just to get an idea of how difficult it will be to get the drive out, and it looks none-too easy. Not like the 50/70 anyway.
Either way, the bios on this box claims to be version 7.20, and I've seen (on a German site) version 7.30. I'm not sure I want to flash my bios from some random internet site. Has anyone with an 1100v upgraded their bios? Will 7.20 run Win2k without major headaches?
