Yes I am guilty of making the problem worse. I had been overseas
at the time and really needed her.
Since the 1100 uses the exact same charging connector as the
110CT ( I have a 110 too) I had some spare libby power bricks to try and
it wasn't that connector. It still would not charge.
I opened up the 1100 and checked out the female connector and
damn if it doesn't look like there is solder connecting it to the
motherboard. It does look like it may be slightly lifted away from the
MB but I may not be qualified to evaluate where to resolder it back
together.
WELL....When I put her back together and put the old charger
back in I slightly lifted it and got charging light action but I stopped
there and will not proceed until hopefully one of you can shine some
light on this. Obviously it is a loose internal connector but is it
possible this is some kind of solderless connector?
