i am typing this on my new samsung sgh-e635 cellphone using the wap browser in it and their tzones service. You can also activate the infrared port on the phone and after installing the samsung modem driver on the libretto use the phone as a 9.6kb modem. Not the fastest but on plans with a lot of minutes or unlimited nights it is a good way to get online in a pinch without spending much money or looking for a phone or other net connection. --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Date: Mon, 24 Oct 2005 12:19:19 -0700 (PDT) > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [LIB] Libretto U100 drops in price in Japan > > > Date: Sun, 23 Oct 2005 23:34:47 -0700 (PDT) > > From: David Chien <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Subject: Libretto U100 drops in price in Japan > > > > Well, coming up to a year? or a half? on the release of the Libretto U100 > > in > > Japan, and I just picked up a copy of Best PC sold in Japan. > > > > In it, it has the Libretto U100/190NLB selling for 179800 yen or about > > $1800 > > USD - 5,600 or about $560 discount for a total of $1238 or so on special > > sale. > > Normally, this notebook still goes for about $1690 in Japan, but they do > > have > > sales that are killer at Sofmap Akihabara, etc, where you can definitely > > get a > > 'steal'. > > definately a steal:))) > > > > > Anyways, at the $1200 or so, it definitely starts to look more and more > > like a > > good upgrade to my L100, although I'm still typing and using this old L110 > > of > > mine right now to type this letter quite well.
