Another petition: Could you do me a big favour and bring the
development of libusb and libusbx together again or drop development
on either of them or mark one of each as research branch or whatever?

almost two years, but it is even annoying to have to do all tests with
two different versions and to have to communicate with two parties in
case of issues or questions. This is especially problematic because
both projects share 95% of the same code and exhibit the same
features, platforms and license. I guess you already did a lot of
discussion about it - maybe you could reconsider it?
