Let me reply to the various elements above: 1. I'm not personally going to provide CE compiled binaries, ever - I just don't have the scope for that. But if Tony wants to upload his on each libusbx release, we can arrange something. I'm also not planning to even test CE for breakage after the initial integration & cleanup phase. I don't have any scope for this. So if any changes in mainline break CE, I'll rely on Tony or CE users to report it, as well as provide a fix.
2. Any issue with the Windows CE USB Wrapper is out of libusbx' scope as far as I'm concerned. I don't see much of an issue if they are discussed on this list, but I'm not personally planning to participate in these discussions either. 3. Great.I was planning to see if I could look into that, but if you can do it, all the better! > When you say "more manpower", is that just a case of some other people > taking ownership of (and fixing) issues for the next release? What I was trying to say is: I sure wish some of the tasks we have lined up, including but not limited to bugfixing and new features (maintenance and release work would be nice to offload too), could be handled by a few more people... and not just for the next release as there's plenty to keep us busy for some time. Right now, at least as far as I'm concerned, it looks like much of what we're doing is firefighting, with little time to spend on new developments or even low hanging fruits such as [1]. And I don't really see that changing unless we get more hands on deck.
