Yes there is one thing about translation:

QT > 3.0 does not compile the msq2qm and findtr tools anymore by default, we 
discussed this already. That's why you included support for .ts files (qt 
linguist).
We need an autoconf/automake rule to automatically use either findtr or 
lrelease to compile the language files. otherwise some people will have no 
translation, and many people are now using QT > 3.0!

Unfortunately i don't know how to do this, so maybe you have a clue or may be 
dirk if he has time for it?
