hi,

ssl support is compiled in at both sides (at least according to the
configure output) but licq says: "Remote client does not support
OpenSSL". if i click the "send" button more often, licq alternates the
error messages, and also spits out "can't connect to remote side".

remote side: licq cvs from 16th august
my client: at first also 16h august cvs, then just checked out and also
didn't work with new cvs.

what we tried:
* remote side tried to establish secure channel, didn't work => "doesn't
support" message
* i tried to establish then, didn't work
* remote client died

also worked reverse and with new cvs.

my client is behind a firewall (nat), the other side has public ip with
no firewall or router in between. i hadn't checked the option "use lan
ip" the first time.
then i switched to "use lan ip" (although there is only one external,
remote ip) and the remote side was able to establish a secure channel
to my client after some time. (?)

BUT:
although licq says it is a secure channel, it doesn't seem to be. we
didn't test with a sniffer (yet), but attached are the packet dumps
from -d31 output, where the normal message and decrypted message text
is identical.

is that output ok or is secure channel broken?
