I definitely did stop it, and ran the program as you described. I checked manually that the proper variables were reset by the script. I have the problem on two different machines, with two different ICQ users (my home and my work account). [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ 0$ diff -r .licq .licq-backup/ diff -r .licq/licq.conf .licq-backup/licq.conf 61,63c61,63 < Group1.id = 0 < Group2.id = 0 < Group3.id = 0 --- > Group1.id = 19954 > Group2.id = 3 > Group3.id = 2 65c65 < Group4.id = 0 --- > Group4.id = 1 67c67 < Group5.id = 0 --- > Group5.id = 4 File .licq/licq_fifo is a fifo while file .licq-backup/licq_fifo is a fifo diff -r .licq/owner.Licq .licq-backup/owner.Licq 31,32c31,32 < SSTime = 0 < SSCount = 0 --- > SSTime = 1172133721 > SSCount = 135 diff -r .licq/users/102273281.Licq .licq-backup/users/102273281.Licq 20c20 < SID = 0 --- > SID = 8936 23c23 < GSID = 0 --- > GSID = 19954 [...] lots of output for other icq ids After starting licq and saving all users/settings, most of those cleared variables hold values other than 0.
