I cannot reproduce this on my Fedora 17 x86_64 system, building with
lilypond-patchy-staging.pŷ (clean build, make flags "-j3 CPU_COUNT=3") the

What are your architecture, operating system, the exact commands you typed
after the "code update with lily-git", and the git revision you built (cd
$LILYPOND_GIT && git rev-parse HEAD)?
