Well, this is not a problem of this patch. Instead, the part combiner is
apparently not happy with naked durations. I suspect it would also be
unhappy with repeat chords. And to be honest: when it bombs out here, I
could imagine that it would also be unhappy about combining drum parts.
Let's see how bad it is...
