I updated the patch. There's now a list of special characters and a \replace command for markups.
The escape character is now 'ยง'. It's the only one that works great with lyrics. And it isn't used elsewhere in LilyPond's syntax. The syntax for using the list of special characters #(include-special-characters) is a bit ackward but I didn't found anything better.
