Hi all, I'd like to start contributing to the Chinese (zh) translation of the LilyPond documentation, and wanted to check in here first as suggested in the Contributor's Guide before doing any large amount of work.
I looked through the current Documentation/po/zh.po file and the existing Documentation/zh/ tree. Overall coverage looks quite low (roughly 11% of strings in zh.po are translated), with the Notation Reference almost entirely untranslated and the Learning Manual only partially covered. The Music Glossary is the most complete, at around 44%. Looking more closely at the Learning Manual, I noticed that Documentation/zh/learning/tutorial.itely already has a full translation credited to Chengrui Li, but it has fallen behind the current English source: the "Input characters" subsection (under "How to write input files") is missing entirely, and the "Dealing with errors" section has been restructured upstream (the two former subsections were flattened into plain paragraphs) but the translation still reflects the old structure. Before I start any work, I wanted to ask: - Is Chengrui Li, or anyone else, currently active on the zh translation? I'd rather update/refresh existing files like tutorial.itely than duplicate someone's ongoing work. - Beyond bringing tutorial.itely up to date, which other Learning Manual chapters would be most useful to prioritize next? - Is there a preferred place to coordinate progress (a language-specific list, a tracking issue, etc.)? I've already set up my GitLab fork (username: himountgeorge) and gone through the Contributor's Guide sections on cloning/forking, translation requirements, and the check-translation/committish maintenance workflow, so I should be ready to submit patches once I know where to start.
