Red Hat broke it for version 9, but Werner was running from source (or
so he said.)

so, how does one run lilypond on RH9, without compiling from source? i have tried to install guile-1.6.4-7.1.i386.rpm (from the rawhide rpm dir at ftp.redhat.com) which is linked on the lilypond download page, but the rpm installation routine aborts before finishing.

is there a relatively simple method to get lilypond running under a standard RH9 distribution?

thanks!
