Denemo allows you to set a range of bars/staffs around the current cursor which it will typeset continuously for you, though as Denemo provides you with an instant (simple) typeset to see you wouldn't need it for just understanding what you have entered. The advantage over drafting with Musescore et al is that you can export the LilyPond instantly.
