Hi again,

For example:
%%% SNIPPET BEGINS
\version "2.25.32"
\language "english"
hint =
#(define-music-function
(parser location mainNote hintNote)
(ly:music? ly:music?)
#{
\afterGrace
{ #mainNote }
{ \once \omit Stem \tweak Parentheses.font-size -3 \tweak
Parentheses.padding 0.1 \parenthesize #hintNote }
#})
{
\key fs \major
\hint as'1 bf'4
\key bf \major
bf'1
}
%%% SNIPPET ENDS
To be honest, I’m not 100% sure if it should be #mainNote or $mainNote…
Somebody Smarter™ will be able to explain the difference(s), and advise on
which is the correct/best option.
Hope that helps!
Kieren.
