Hi,
not that I don't like Frescobaldi, but as an alternative I am trying to
set up Gvim as an editor and Evince as pdf viewer in Linux Fedora to
support point-and-click.
I have arrived at a point where I can click in my score viewed in
Evince and Gvim will open with the cursor pointing to the correct
position in the lilypond code.
So far so good.
But if I click again in the score Evince will try to call another
instance of gvim trying to open the same lilypond file which is already
open, and I get an error/warning message that "another program may be
editing the same file" among others.
What I want is using the already open gvim window instead of a new
window to continue editing the same file, and the cursor automatically
moving to the new point-and-click location. I can remember I used
gvim/evince like that in the past, but I can't remember what I did
differently then. (I lost the settings when I got a new laptop).
Anyone any idea what I could be doing wrong?
