I'm suggesting something more along the lines of \include "english.ly", whereby you can enter fsharp instead of fis. So instead of c', you can enter c4, c5 instead of c''.
How would you differentiate c4 meaing "c in the 4th octave" from c4 meaning "a quarter note c"? That's why I don't see any way to add this functionality.
