What part of "nobody wants to work on midi output" did you fail to understand? Getting in touch with them and working on integrating things means work that I personally am not interested in doing. If you're interested, then great! Why don't *you* get in touch with them, figure out how to use it as a library or share code or whatever, and prepare properly-formatted patches for discussion?
