Please don't forget that lilypond's clefs are not something which are
designed from nothing. They are mostly based on good German
engravings! In other words, there *are* engraved scores which use
similarly larage g clefs.
I like the shape of the new clef better. I only would like just a
tiny little bit more space between the bottom of the staff and the clef's
curl below the the staff.
