Hello Davide, on my system (OSX 10.9) frescobaldi(-devel) fails because portmidi doesn’t compile - I see lots of C errors in the log. I completely re-installed MacPorts (and that’s a lot).
Can you make the MIDI stuff optional? Perhaps via a variant +no-midi?
