Please *never* blame ordinary list users for the idiosyncratic behaviour of the lilypond-user mailing list. This is the only list I have ever been on that does not reply to the list by default. So as has been pointed out on a number of previous occasions, it is _not_ a matter of someone deliberately 'tak[ing] the mailing list off the cc', but rather one of accidentally forgetting to add it (or for new users, being unaware of the need to do so).
