Thomas, I tried your solution. It's definitely far better than mine. Works flawlessly with "pd." but not so well with "n.", which now experiences the same vertical displacement. Of course, the difference is minimal,.... it's not so disturbing as the other one, so I suppose I can live with that. LOL On the other hand, is there a way to increase a little bit the space before the bar line? I feel the text is too close to it. Also, could you recommend a good source to learn Scheme?
