there are 4 heigh end commercial graphics programs available for solaris,
photoshop
illustrator (kinda, way behind on the version)
renderman (ever see toy story? twas done on a bunch o suns)
lightwave (the sequel is being done with lightwave)
they do sell boxen aimed at graphic artists, not that they sell many...
