One concern I've heard raised is that a musician might object to
hearing their song being used in a television commercial for Nike
or Coca-Cola. I find movie soundtracks a greater dilemma. One
might stipulate "cannot be used in advertising," but whether one
one wishes to be associated with a film may depend on its content.
Further, if one has said that it cannot be used in advertising, what
of its use to promote the film that meets with one's approval?
