I've been continuing work on my Open Photo Library project (~16K photos)
(http://opl.megaglobal.net) using a number of linux boxes for
web/database service (php+mysql+perl), field work (dell laptop+pcmcia
flash adapter+nikon cp 950), crunching images (photo mosaics, scaling,
stamping..) and archiving (to cdr).

I'm also using linux at work (http://liquidation.com), where we run
approximately 25 linux servers/workstations for development,
firewalling, databases, fileservice & development.
100% of our production servers run Linux .

happy new year,

_Michael
