Hello, Im new on this list.
Im living in Groningen, the Netherlands and Im working with a group op
people on a 3D project. What do I do? Im the writer, I write a script and
an encyclopidia of a group of worlds that are being developped. Those worlds
are connected around a given theme.
I joined the list because I was searching for a place to get some
answers/discussion on the DSL license.
My first question is: are there more licences like this? I mean copy left or
semi-copyleft licenses written for creative products?
While working on a 3D project there are some specific problems. The end
product(s) are made from the work of a group of people. Person A invents
something (a writer), person B makes a drawing, person C makes a model based
on this drawing, person D makes the animation, person E is responsible for
editing and video. All these people have ownership of the product being
made. Is there a license that considers this project/group-based way of
working?
Besides that we want to be able to sell the end product if it is
commercially viable (and everyone should be getting his share). But we also
want to be able to provide the source of the work to anyone who wants to
join the project and perhaps take it into a different direction. It must be
a continuing development with different end products based on the same theme
and perhaps based on the same models.
TIA
