That and how cheap it was since I care more about publishing online than making prints. I haven't used film in over a year, and know that I'll never go back to it ... Recently discovered how easy it is to use "animate" to construct animated clips from still images ... so even with a still camera if you can set the shutter to drive mode you can make short animation movies with it.
