It seems that an awful lot of programming for children, after school, is taking place in existing space-the new school space. It is heartening to hear that space is well-utilized.
That begs the question of what additional space is needed for kids. What are the other programs offered? How may children are taking part in the school-based activities and how many others might be migrating to programs elsewhere? There is a small school population, so being clear about numbers and who is where, again, is necessary to inform discussion. ------ Sara Mattes > On Nov 27, 2022, at 9:11 PM, Krystal Wood > <ccbccommunicationscommit...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Community Center Building Committee- November, 2022 > > How can community organizations use the new school facilities? > > Community organizations cannot use the new school facilities during normal > school hours (except in very specific circumstances, like elections) – 7:30 > to 3:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 7:30 to 1:00 on > Wednesdays, late August to late June. > > At the end of each school day, some continuing educational activities have > preferential use of the school facilities.
