All,
What is instructive is to remember, we are struggling with how best to 
comply-to add housing near transit, to bring more traffic to the retail at the 
Mall, and to balance that with maintaining small town character.
It is a give and take discussion-there is no simple answer, except that (from 
my perspective) no new housing and no new development and “no compliance” is 
not an option.

What is all very instructions is to see how our neighbors are managing these 
challenges.
It can be done by going to the websites of each town-lexington, Concord, Weston 
etc.

And, it is import to note the important outcome of the Brookline vote- the 
compromises and consensus made by all parties.

It is necessary to really dig in and not fall prey to broad and sweeping 
statements and/or labeling of any party weighing in on this debate.

We are a community and we need to find a path that will allow us to come out of 
these great debates as one.
