I have Pets Best for my Sato(5yrs) and have had it since we adopted him
from Buddy Dog when he was 4mo. The specific coverage is the BestBenefits
plan ($250 annual deductible, 90% reimbursement, and no annual limit) with
Essential Wellness add-on (set reimbursement for routine annual services).
Claims are usually processed and paid within a couple weeks. A couple years
ago, he had an issue with his knee dislocating and was diagnosed with a
grade 2 luxating patella. Luckily he was able to recover by limiting his
activity and taking supplements. If it were a grade 3 or above where he
needed surgery, it would have cost $10,000 and would have been 90% covered.
I would suggest checking them out and getting a quote online.
