We—along with other Lincoln residents of many faiths including Christians
and Jews-- have been attending the Gralta films which are about Israel and
Palestine.

It is both untrue and offensive to link this effort to antisemitism.

In the 1960s, we opposed the actions of the then US government to the war
in Vietnam. We were opposing an action; we were not anti-American. This
accusation feels similar to accusations of anti-Americanism in the 1960s.

We deplore killing--especially of innocents—and believe that antisemitism
is an abomination.

May we live together in peace and justice, respecting our differences.
Sincerely,
Joan Kimball
