Sorry, My involvement with PTFI was in 1996-98 as a verifier to its Environmental Audit. I never knew this contract between PTFI and Papua and probably would not care either-as an environmental scientist. I would leave it to the lawyers (which may complicate the issue even further). I think PT FI case is one of the most complicated (therefore damn interesting) case in our natural resource management. I wish I could go back to school and do a degree in environmental/resources law.
