A consortium NGO is currently seeking a confident, efficient and dynamic individual to accommodate the position of national coordinator of the Non-timber Forest Product (NTFP) Information Exchange Program within Indonesia. The individual will act as a vector in an extensive program involving the development and exchange of information, experience, skill and capacity building between rural communities and supporting NGOs to increase the sustainable management, production and marketing of NTFP�s. Requirements: � Extensive knowledge concerning community forestry related issues within Indonesia and Southeast Asia in general � Experience in networking within the NGO community in Indonesia � Experience in research within rural communities and NGOs in Indonesia � Knowledge on policies and marketing of non-timber forest products � Bilingual skills in bahasa Indonesia and English Activities: � Will receive intensive training in order to fully prepare for the responsibilities of the position � Will be involved in the coordination and consolidation of research and collection of data and information � Will travel to maintain and create relations with partners and potential contacts within the NTFP networking body in Indonesia � Will attend workshops and study tours to learn and improve the capacity for development, implementation and maintenance of the NTFP network program and mechanism.
