> Any ideas?

Yes, write yourself a Lingo utility handler that walks all images
(English and French) and combines them as desired using imaging Lingo.
Specifically you'll need to make your new image using the image()
function at the desired "double-size", then use copyPixels() to copy the
English/French words into the new destination image at the desired
location (you'll have to calculate the desired rect into which you'll
copy each English/French word image). Once you've created this new image
you simply create a new bitmap cast member using the new() function and
set that member's image appropriately (of course you may also want to
name the member at that time). Check out those particular functions and
then let us know if/where you need more detailed information.
