Thanks, Warren, I am trying to illustrate the utility of both flash and director in this case and getting the two to talk to each other would be a real plus. The flash(which I am relatively new to) is MX and that may be a problem within Director at this point.
I have not used CGI much and am not sure how to make it work. I am guessing the javascript that executes on the flash fsCommand () would post the string to the CGI and it would have to write that to a text file to be retrieved by a different CGI at the request of Director. But the actual script to do that eludes me.
