Are there any considerations for that? My thought is that it might make it more "aesthetic" if the user just doesn't see these files.
As you have an autorun, there's less chance that the user will be browsing around the disc, so is it worth worrying about? On the Mac side you could just size the window to have those files scrolled off the bottom.
