What am I missing?
I just dealt with this little nightmare yesterday right when my deadline was up. Fun times.
Luckily the solution isn't too difficult once you've found it.
You can't use the disc image functionality in Toast anymore. You have to use the Disk Utility App in OSX. Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility.
Go to the Images pulldown menu and select New -> Blank Image. Name and set the size exactly like the temporary partition you normally set and select that as your Mac volume. Then share the folders you want on the PC side from that Image.
