How exactly would you then access them yourself? How would you set a file path for the video which is contained in the DB, Valentina or otherwise?

I was thinking of writing it to temporary files, but as Mathew pointed out that would take some time. And also you'd have the problem of having someone copy the temporary file somewhere too.
