Cath, Windows has overtaken the Mac's capabilities with 2 monitors already
as long as you use XP and a modern dual head graphic card.

We don't need another my Macs better than your PC battle.
Just for the record, when I am tutoring, I plug a digital projector into the VGA socket on my TI PowerBook and have two monitors. No extra cards, no set ups or drivers to load. It just works ;-)
I do the same with my dell notebook with windows XP :P Touché!

ps. Sorry couldn't help myself. Though as an avid PC user, having only used a Mac in the last 6 months I'm really pushing for my boss to let me develop on a nice G5. I'm a BSD user so having a good GUI and a good base system is like a dream come true.
