Hi,

To start off with, I feel, you go through "Using Lingo" the book which comes
with Director Bundle. If you don't understand or if you have any doubts from
that, post them to lingo-l or direct-l to get immediate answers. There are
so many experts on these lists, they will help you get understand. Thats how
i learnt lingo. There are plenty of Articles for beginners on
http://www.director-online.com which are written by experts, articles about
using variables, Director event heirarchy, the kind of scripts, linear
lists, property lists, behaviors, xtras etc. Study them, do it practically
again and again untill you understand the concepts.
