Ok... So I still haven't the foggiest idea why it happened, but I juggled
around some cast members, and it's solved.

I didn't use any special Xtras or external files, didn't control any cast
members on the first frame... or did I? I had a field from which I pulled a
list of variables on prepareMovie - it still caused trouble once the script
error disappeared, but it's solved now. It could have been causing the error
in the first place...

I suspect it was a preload thing, like some suggested. I moved most cast
members away from the first frame, slapped in some preloader behaviors from
the library and it worked. If it ain't broke...
