Maybe it's AI. Maybe it's voodoo. I dunno. Director seems to be acting
funny exactly when my deadline looms large....
Anyways.....does anyone know of local HTTP addresses not working reliably
in Director? I have a local machine configured to serve web pages and it
does that just fine in a browser. But when I take the same address(copied
from the address bar) into Director, I get a net error 6. And besides, when
I used a web based server, there were no such problems.
The local folders address is in the format of
http://localmachinename/directory/
