I've got a CD with a bunch of Flash movies, most around 2MB. On the Mac they
play great and play always. On the PC side, sometimes when I go to a frame
with a Flash movie it doesn't play the first time. Actually, it may play a
frame or two but it then stops. I then go back to the main menu and then
back to the Flash movie a second time and it plays. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Right now I have the Flash file linked, "paused" off, "preload" off. I've
noticed that with "paused" and "preload" off the Director inspector doesn't
see it as having a frame rate and when I turn either of them on it sees the
frame rate. I'm doing tests but in the mean time maybe someone has some
thoughts!?
I'm using sprite(flashChannel).play() to start it and the inspector shows
sprite(flashChannel).playing() = 1 even though the Flash movie isn't
playing.. Go figure.
