I consider it a breech of etiquette, too. Sometimes while browsing Eudora's
Trash before doing my weekly clean up I'll notice messages like this, but
otherwise I just don't see them. My mblists address is heavily filtered for
several mailing lists. I suspect in their eyes I'm being rude or arrogant
since I apparently ignore these messages (they're automatically sent to the
trash).
Once in a while I invite someone to email me off-list and I adjust the
filters for them or use a different address. For those messages that do
happen to slip past my imperfect filters, I usually suggest politely that
they post the question to an on-line forum (for more experienced eyes to see).
Knowing your knack for tact, I seriously doubt you've offended anyone by
quoting your prices.
