Hi everyone!
Okay. I'm creating a presentation tool for a client who needs to be
able to update the presentation themselves, so they can present to different
customers, showing them different photos, text, etc. (a bit like a
simplified but better-looking version of powerpoint).
To make this relatively simple, rather than resaving all the dirs to
create a new version, the dirs are the same, and the assets are loaded and
saved in casts which also contain all the necessary lists of screens,
titles, etc. and which can therefore be swapped between machines too.
However, since there may be large numbers of these things generated, I'd
like to be able to get rid of old/outdated casts. I can remove their
references in the list of available presentations easily enough, but I'd
rather not have megs and megs of redundant casts hanging around the hard
drive.
What do you think?
